Moko MokoMoko

I am Yoshida, president of Yamada Shusei Ltd., a professional apparel garment repair group in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.

Shuntaro Tanikawa, one of the most famous poets of the postwar period, who was also active in lyric writing, scriptwriting, and translation, passed away on November 13 at the age of 92 due to old age.

I love “Moko Moko Moko,” a beautiful picture book combining Tanikawa's poetry and Gen Hirose's illustrations.

The theme of this picture book is to provide a poetic and sensory experience through small events and changes in nature hidden in everyday life. For example, the book describes the detailed beauty of nature, such as small creatures in the grass or the movement of clouds in the sky, which makes the reader feel relaxed and connected to nature.

As the title suggests, the content is soft and warm, and is loved by children and adults alike. Also, like Tanigawa's other works, it is simple, yet deeply meaningful.

Depending on how you read them, you may learn the following, which are also relevant to your work.

1) importance of observation

2) harmony with nature

3) the power of simplicity

4) flexible thinking

5) the importance of communication

By incorporating these lessons into our work, we may be able to strengthen team collaboration and improve overall performance.... As I reread this picture book, I thought about this.
