I am Yoshida, president of Yamada Shusei Ltd., a professional apparel garment repair group in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
President Masanao Omori of Omori Woodworking, the company that helped us with the construction of Yoriito, has started a new FM Nagaoka TV personality. I have always known him to be a man of many talents who is polite, caring, and well-connected, but I was surprised to learn that he is now a radio personality as well.
This is “akoAgan channel,” a 15-minute program that started on October 5, every Saturday at 12:30 noon. The subtitle is Make Life More Fun.
Nagaoka is aligned backwards and ”akoAgan”.
I have been listening to the program since the first episode, and it is a friendly program that oozes Mr. Omori's personality, so please give it a listen!
Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label's TV commercial “Adult Elevator” asks the question, “What does it mean to be an adult?” ... It seems that such a question is one of the themes of the commercial.
If I were to ask myself this question, I would honestly say that I do not feel like an adult yet, but if I had to say, I would say that I feel like a person who has survived childhood well.
In childhood, there are many lessons, challenges, failures, and successes, and through these experiences, we learn self-understanding and how to relate to others. I believe that by firmly surviving childhood, the following important qualities as an adult will be nurtured.
1) Resilience
The ability to overcome difficulties and setbacks. This strengthens the ability to face difficulties even after adulthood.
2) Empathy
The ability to understand and empathize with the feelings of others. This helps to enrich human relationships.
3) Responsibility
The ability to take responsibility for one's own actions. This makes one a socially trustworthy adult.
4) Self-affirmation
To affirm oneself and have self-confidence. This will enable you to take positive action toward self-actualization.
I would like to add that even if, like me, you feel that you are not mature enough yet, you can always start over from where and when you are! That is my motto.
What does it mean to be an adult?
