I am Yoshida, president of Yamada Shusei Ltd., a professional apparel garment repair group in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
On October 11, I will be taking the certification exam for cleaners. Prior to the exam, I participated in a preparatory workshop for the cleaning technician exam on September 14. Including practical instruction on ironing and finishing, I worked hard with the opening staff of the new business, sweating both head and body.
A cleaner is a professional technician who washes and presses clothes, including stain removal and ironing, in a dry cleaning store or factory.
It is a national qualification established under the Cleaning Business Law.
At a meeting for new business, we discussed the idea of adding a "housekeeping space" to the café laundry, so that our staff would have the expertise to handle the work.
I was reminded that, despite the differences in our fields, it is nice to see a beautiful finished product. I am updating my "most recent education," not my "last education."
